At 40 percent, works of the Giro Independencia in Torreón

The construction of the Giro Independencia registers 40 percent progress at the end of this week, which means that the work is being carried out in accordance with the deadlines established in the contract.

The director of Public Works of the Municipality, Juan Adolfo Von Bertrab Saracho, reported that “we are doing more than better” and this gives a certain time advantage to compensate when the fair period arrives, when the work could slow down.

According to the latest supervision of the work, as of last Thursday, 73 of the 1,026 piles have been built, which represents 75 percent, in addition to 106 concrete girders of the 134 (80 percent) that will be part of the structure. of the work.

Regarding the drilling for the piles, the work is at 82 percent and there is a steel supply of 70 percent of everything needed for the Independencia Turn.

In addition, work continues on the relocation of the induced lines that cross the construction site, which in the case of those that carry natural gas are taken to the side of the El Campesino crossing.

The telephone lines, which are owned by Telefonos de México, are going to be diverted to the Villa Florida intersection.
