The People’s National Congress (PNC), known as anti-India party Mohammad Muijju, is on the way to a big victory in the Maldives. The total number of seats in the country’s parliament is 93. Out of these 86 results have been declared. It showed that the PNC secured victory in 66 seats, which is enough to secure a majority.
284,000 Maldivian citizens were expected to exercise their right to vote in this year’s parliamentary elections.
