ANR will deliver coats to residents of Bañados and Chacarita

ASSUMPTION. The National Republican Association (ANR) began receiving donations of coats and blankets to the most vulnerable people, in response to the low temperatures.

“This is an initiative by the president of the party seeing the need of compatriots who are experiencing cold, difficulties with low temperatures. The doors of the Colorado Party are opened once again to give a hug of solidarity. We are going to work in principle with the areas of Bañado Sur, Bañado Norte and Chacarita. As soon as the campaign was launched, we received a total of 89 blankets,” said lawyer María Teresa Peralta, member of the Governing Board.

The campaign was launched on May 28. All people interested in collaborating with the donations of new or used clothing in good condition can bring their contributions to the ANR Online Radio location, located at the headquarters of the Government Board, on 25 de Mayo streets almost Tacuary, Assumption.

“This spirit of solidarity characterizes us Paraguayans. Solidarity is the essence of the Colorado Party and we hope for everyone’s collaboration,” said Peralta.

For his part, the Director of Communications of the ANR, Mariano Mercado Rotela, added that donations will be received from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The period for receiving donations will be extended until June 15.
