As the election of Bangladesh Film Artists Association is getting closer, the discussion and frenzy is increasing. Meanwhile, many old and new stars are preparing for the elections.
The election was supposed to be held in FDC on April 19. But the election is not taking place on that date. This information was given in the schedule signed by Election Commissioner Chairman Khorshed Alam Khosru, members AJ Rana and BH Nishan on Monday (March 4).
It is said that polling and preliminary results will be announced on April 27. Voting will continue from 10 am to 5 pm on this day.
It is learned that the primary voter list will be published on March 24. Before this, the members have to pay the subscription by March 20. However, in case of check or online subscription payment should be encashed by 3 pm on March 18. The final voter list will be published on March 28 at 5 pm.
It is also known that the sale of nominations started on March 30. Will continue till 31st March 4 pm. Nominations can be submitted till 4 pm on April 2.
The list of primary candidates for the election is published on April 3 (in the presence of rivals and representatives). Objection and disposal will be done till 4 pm on April 6. The final candidate list will be released on April 7. Before this, the candidature can be withdrawn by 2 pm on April 7.
After the election, appeals against the preliminary results can be filed on April 29 from 12 noon to 5 pm. The appeal must be disposed of between 11 am and 5 pm on April 30. The final result of this year’s election of Bangladesh Film Artists Association will be published on May 1 at 5 pm.
Purchase of nomination papers, filing and appeal fees are non-refundable. The cost of each nomination paper is one thousand rupees. 30,000 for president and general secretary, 20,000 for vice president, 15,000 for editorial post, 7,000 for executive post and an appeal fee of Rs.
