Aníbal Mosa returns to the helm of Blanco y Negro, the conglomerate that manages the emblematic Colo Colo club. His return comes after intense negotiations and agreements with the Social and Sports Club, securing the votes necessary to lead the institution in his third term.

The announcement comes after a crucial stage for the white team, marked by the historic confrontation against Universidad de Concepción to ensure permanence in the highest category of Chilean football. After that episode, a complete restructuring was promised, which will be led by Mosa within the framework of the club’s centenary celebrations next year.

The previous days were full of intense negotiations and meetings between the different blocks that make up the Blanco y Negro leadership. Matías Camacho, president of the corporation, played a crucial role in tipping the balance in favor of Mosa, despite previous tensions between the two.

The election of Mosa as president was ratified during the concessionaire’s Shareholders’ Meeting, where the names were presented to fill the nine management positions. A controversial event was the appointment of Eduardo Loyola, who had recently resigned, as vice president of Mosa, generating some controversy.

Camacho, who had criticized Mosa’s management in the past, changed his mind and expressed his support for the businessman, arguing the need for a change in the Blanco y Negro administration.

In a statement to radio ADN, Camacho stated: “We have made the decision to make a change in the administration of Blanco y Negro, we believe that it is time and we are working on common points that we have had with Aníbal Mosa in this process of conversations. Today we are going to ratify that change.”

With his return, Mosa promises to implement changes in the internal structures of the concessionaire, which could mean the departure of several managers in the coming days.

“There will not be any type of changes in the sporting part

Aníbal Mosa, recently re-elected as president of Colo Colo, announced his first measures and spoke his first words after taking office. In a press conference, he confirmed sports manager Daniel Morón in his position, ruling out changes in the club’s sports structure. “There are not going to be any changes in the sporting part,” said Mosa, reiterating his support for the coaching staff and players. In addition, he expressed his commitment to managing with unity, encouraging the participation of all directors in the club’s decisions.

In relation to the new Monumental Stadium, Mosa announced that they will carry out an exhaustive analysis to resolve the most urgent problems for the fans. He also revealed plans to celebrate the club’s centenary, proposing the creation of a commission to organize the festivities and highlighting the importance of the participation of the entire Colocolina community in this historical milestone.
