News from Angola – The national senior men’s futsal team, current runner-up of the 7th edition of the African Futsal Championship (CAN’2024), is in 4th position in the continental ranking of the sport with 1053 points
Despite the defeat against hosts Morocco (1-5), Angola won the title of African runners-up last Sunday, held at the Salle Palais des Sports Pavilion, in Rabat.
He achieved an unprecedented feat by competing in the continental competition final for the first time in history. With this triumph, he qualified for the World Championship, taking place from September 14th to October 6th, in Uzbekistan.
However, it surpassed the 3rd position (bronze medal) achieved in 2020, also in Morocco.
