Development issues of Azerbaijan-Pakistan partnership were discussed, Memorandum of Understanding on trade cooperation was signed.

According to information, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and our Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov met with the delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, who is visiting our country.

In the meeting, it was emphasized that the relations between the two friendly countries were strengthened in the conditions of mutual trust, and the relations in various fields were developing on a rising line. At the meeting, views were exchanged on the opportunities created by the Azerbaijan-Pakistan partnership for the diversification of our economic relations, and the prospects for the realization of joint projects.

Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on trade cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Trade of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The document covers the implementation of relevant measures to deepen trade relations between the two countries.
