Alex Ferguson comes out of coma and is already talking

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has already shown the first signs of improvement, following emergency surgery for a brain bleed, which took place this weekend.

According to the English newspaper Daily Mail, the former Scottish coach remains in intensive care but has already sat down and spoken to family and friends at Salford Royal Hospital on Monday, and is clearly recovering.

At the time of his unexpected admission, the hospital spokesperson had already said that the operation was a success and that the future was optimistic for the former Manchester United coach.

However, the same publication also stated that Ferguson will need several months to recover 100% from the hemorrhage.
