Al-Hilal Club will host, this Monday evening, its counterpart, Al-Anwar, at the Benina Martyrs Stadium, within the third week of the second leg of the Premier League competitions for the first group of the Libyan Premier Football League.
The match will take place at six in the evening. Al Hilal occupies second place with 22 points, three points behind leaders Al Nasr, while Al Anwar comes in seventh place with 10 points.
Karim Al-Sebaei, Al-Hilal’s assistant coach, said: “The match is important in the six-a-side race… We have to be ready so that victory will be ours.” Al-Hilal will miss the services of some of its players due to injuries, according to what Al-Sibai stated.
Al-Sibai confirmed that Al-Hilal is mentally prepared for the confrontation, and the victory will make it well prepared for the upcoming African confrontations in the Confederation Cup. If it wins, Al-Hilal will temporarily be equal with Al-Nasr in total points.
Last week, Al Hilal returned with three important points in the last round, when it won outside its home stadium over Al-Morouj with two clean goals.
On the other hand, Al-Anwar lost at home in the second round of the return stage to Al-Tahadi, with a score of 1:0.
The third round matches will be completed tomorrow, Tuesday, with two matches at the Benina Martyrs Stadium, as the confrontation combines challenge and cooperation, and in the second confrontation, Al-Nasr receives the Al-Morouj team.
The round’s competitions will conclude on Wednesday, with Al-Akhdar and Falcons facing off at Sheikh Al-Shuhada Stadium, and Al-Ahly Benghazi and Al-Sadaqa facing off at Benina Martyrs Stadium.
Al-Nasr is at the top of the first group of the Libyan Premier League, with 25 points.
