Unidentified drones, which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said were likely to be American forces, launched raids targeting a farm in the Al-Shibli area near the city of Al-Mayadeen in the Deir ez-Zor countryside. It is used by the Imam al-Sadiq militia, affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, to store missiles.

The aircraft, which the Observatory suggested were American, targeted an empty site that was being used to train members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, without causing any casualties. A tanker driver was killed by direct targeting while he was on the Ain Ali base road. Where there is a missile launching pad.

On Saturday, the Observatory reported that armed factions supported by Iran launched a missile attack on the American base in the Al-Omar field in Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria.

The observatory said that the air defenses tried to confront the missiles without being able to shoot them down, noting that the new targeting of the base came shortly after a similar attack on the American base in the Koniko gas field.

These factions claimed responsibility for dozens of attacks on American forces in Iraq and Syria since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

Last week, the United States launched strikes on sites in Iraq and Syria, in response to a drone attack on its forces at a base in northeastern Jordan on January 28, which resulted in the death of three American soldiers and the injury of dozens.

A security source told Reuters on Saturday that air defense systems operated by the coalition forces, led by the United States, stationed in eastern Syria, responded to six drone attacks targeting their base in the Koniko oil field.
