Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Honorary President of the Royal Bahraini Equestrian and Endurance Federation, the 2024 Nasser bin Hamad Show Jumping Championship competitions were held on Friday, organized by the Royal Bahraini Equestrian Federation. And endurance races at the Military Sports Federation field at the Rashid Equestrian Club and endurance races. The sons of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Sheikha Shaima bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, were crowned owners. The first places in the championship, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Environment, Vice President of the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Racing Federation.
The tournament witnessed the presence of the Chairman of the Show Jumping Committee of the Royal Bahraini Equestrian and Endurance Federation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, a number of members of the Federation, and large audiences of fans and enthusiasts of the sport of show jumping.
On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa congratulated the knights who won first places, praising the great technical levels presented by the knights participating in this tournament, stressing that these levels clearly reflect the preparations of the stables and horsemen for this participation, which contributed greatly to demonstrating competitiveness. Which was clearly reflected in the general level of the tournament, adding that His Highness added that the efforts made by the stables and riders contribute to the development of the sport of show jumping and push them towards brilliance, distinction and achieving more achievements in this sport. His Highness praised the distinguished efforts made by the Royal Bahraini Equestrian and Endurance Racing Federation, headed by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in developing plans and programs that contribute to the development and advancement of equestrian sports and endurance racing, wishing the Federation continued success and success.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his appreciation for the large crowds who were keen to attend and follow the competitions of this tournament, which confirms the great love and passion that horse sport enjoys in the Kingdom of Bahrain among the masses for this ancient sport. His Highness, at the same time, appreciated the support of companies and institutions.
