Under the patronage and support of Her Highness Sheikha Noura bint Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, leader of the equestrian team, the Al-Ittihad Military Sports Field in Al-Raffa will host the “Dressage” Championship tomorrow, Saturday, organized by the Royal Bahraini Federation for Equestrian and Endurance Racing.
The extension of the championship comes in light of the patronage enjoyed by the sport of horse dressage from Her Highness Sheikha Noura bint Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, leader of the Al-Fursan team, and her continued keenness to advance the equestrian sport in general and the sport of horse dressage in particular.
Previous tournaments witnessed wide participation and open competition among riders who excelled in demonstrating their high technical abilities in controlling horses.
The Royal Bahraini Equestrian and Endurance Racing Federation was keen to prepare early for this tournament, which is sure to witness wide participation after many riders came forward with a desire to participate.
The tournament will witness the establishment of 6 categories as follows:
Category 1: Intro 2, Introductory level 2 and field area (20 meters x 40 metres), for categories divided into beginners and advanced.
Category 2: Prelim 3 Introductory level 3 and the field area (20 meters x 60 metres) for categories divided into beginners and advanced.
Class 3: Beginner level 3 and field area (20m x 60m) which is Novice Class 3.
Category 4: Primary level 2 and field size (20 meters x 60 metres) which is the Elementry 2 tournament.
Category 5: Intermediate level 2, which is the Medium 2 tournament, and the field area (20 meters x 60 metres), which is the Medium 2 tournament.
Category 6: Advanced Intermediate 2 Advanced Intermediate 2 and field area (20 m x 60 m).
The tournament organizing committee invited fans to attend the events and enjoy the performances that the riders will present with their horses.
