During the meeting, the progress of the International Reciter Competition organized by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments was reviewed, and the committees and results of the fourth stage were approved, in addition to the program of the closing ceremony of the competition that will immediately follow the end of the qualifiers, which will be held worldwide in front of a generous audience during the ceremony.
The fourth stage of the competition concluded with three contestants from each branch qualifying for the final qualifiers, who, with their perfect recitations, topped the lists of participants from various countries of the world, noting that an elite specialized in the sciences of the Qur’an and readings worked to evaluate the contestants’ recitations during the four stages of the competition, which contributed to highlighting the elite and mastery of the contestants. Recitation and performance.
It is noteworthy that the International Reader Competition in its fourth session attracted the participation of 5,092 male and female contestants from 74 countries, and new branches were added to the competition, in addition to the participation of females in the two branches of the memorized reader and the young reader, in order to encourage them and allow them to compete for the title of international reader on a par with males.
