His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the sisterly Republic of Yemen, received in the temporary capital, Aden today, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of his visit to Yemen on a tour of a number of Arab countries.
His Excellency Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi welcomed the Foreign Minister’s visit to Yemen, and His Excellency instructed the Foreign Minister to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. May God protect him, and His Excellency wishes them good health and wellness, and the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people continued growth and prosperity.
His Excellency the Yemeni President praised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting of the thirty-third Arab Summit, headed by His Majesty the King, expressing his confidence in the summit’s success in achieving the goals and aspirations of Their Majesties, Excellencies and Highnesses, leaders of Arab countries to enhance the process of joint Arab cooperation.
His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his happiness at visiting the Republic of Yemen and meeting with His Excellency the President of the Presidency Council. He conveyed to His Excellency the President the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, and their wishes to His Excellency for continued health and wellness. To the brotherly Yemeni people, security, stability and prosperity.
During the meeting, they discussed the strong fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint coordination in all areas of common interest for the benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged regarding the political and security situation in Yemen and the efforts made by the Yemeni government to achieve security and stability and advance the development process in the country, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the situation in Gaza and its repercussions on regional security and stability.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Yemen, Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al-Tarifi, Head of the Arab and African Affairs Sector, and Ambassador Saeed Abdul Khaleq Saeed, Head of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
