Sheikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Table Tennis Federation, crowned the Bahrain Club team champions of the All-General Table Tennis League for the 2023/2024 sports season.
The Bahrain Club team won first place and gold medals, while the Saar Club team won silver medals by winning second place, and the Aali Club team won bronze medals after the team won third place.
Sheikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz extended congratulations and blessings to the Bahrain Club, headed by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Khasram, on the occasion of winning the league, praising the levels presented by the team throughout the season.
The Bahrain Club team was able to defeat the Saar Club team (3-0) in the final match, where the Bahraini player Elias Al-Yassi defeated the Saar player Anwar Makki in three clean games, and the Bahrain player Rashid Sanad defeated the Saar player Syed Murtada Hussein in three games to two. While Bahraini player Mohammed Abbas defeated Sar Ali Abbas in three clean games, so the team was crowned champion of the competition.
It is expected that the activities of the Bahrain Table Tennis Federation will continue, as the youth league deciding match will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, between the Saar and Aali clubs, where the winning team will be crowned, in addition to the crowning of the cubs and junior categories.
