The rise of the University of Bahrain team, led by national coach Hassan Khalil, to the final came after it occupied fourth place in the preliminary round, and this is something the team was not accustomed to in past years. In the semi-final, it defeated the leader of the standings, the American University team, in three games to no avail, so that the team advanced to the final well-deservedly. .

This final will be based on different calculations, as the two teams faced each other twice this season, and in both matches they exchanged victory over each other. Al-Ahliyya won in the first leg by two games to one, and in the return leg, the University of Bahrain prevailed by two games to one.
