The distinguished Bahraini artist, Qahtan Al-Qahtani, participates in the events of the series “Al Boom”, which tells the story of Emirati sailors who decide to travel in a large wooden boat towards India, where World War II breaks out, and they enter into a grand adventure full of interesting events.
This work is the largest dramatic production and the first historical drama in the UAE
In a special statement to the country, Qahtan said:
In the series, I play the role of the dean of Arab merchants in India in the forties of the last century, when trade exchange between the Gulf and India was at the height of its prosperity, as Arab merchants sold pearls in India and in return they imported wood, spices, and fabrics.”
The great star added: “I consider this role to be one of the most important television roles, and it is different from the work I have done. For the first time, I am performing dialogue in both Arabic and English.”
The series is written by Imad Al-Din Al-Hakim and directed by Al-Tunisi by Saad Al-Oueslati.
