The war on Gaza has entered its 135th day, as Palestinian casualties continue as a result of the Israeli bombing of various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Today, Sunday, press sources reported that the death toll from the violent Israeli bombing of the Gaza areas since Saturday evening had risen to more than 50 people.
There were also reports that a number of others were killed and injured in the bombing of the Hamad family’s home in the Al-Zawaida area in the central Gaza Strip, a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City, and the Al-Haddad family’s home in the Al-Musalba area, south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.
An Israeli warplane raid targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Israeli army artillery also bombed the areas of Al-Batan Al-Samin and Qizan Al-Najjar in Khan Yunis, while army vehicles fired smoke bombs at the vicinity of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.
Israel is focusing its campaign on the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, where the army said that its forces are fighting battles supported by tanks and air cover, noting that Israeli special forces are still operating in and around Nasser Hospital.
The Israeli army intensifies its bombing of Rafah
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes continue to target areas east of Rafah with violent bombardment.
Palestinian sources said that Israeli gunboats also participated in bombing areas on the beaches of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli warplanes also targeted sites in the city of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, and others east of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
