The Palestinian Ministry of Culture announced the launch of the third session of the Ghassan Kanafani Award for Arabic Fiction for the year 2024, with the deadline for submission being May 1, 2024, and the short list will be announced in June 2024, and the winner will be announced on July 8, 2024.

Conditions for applying for the award

• The award is reserved for Arabic novels only, and works written in or translated from other languages ​​are not considered
• The work nominated for the award must be printed and published
• To be distinguished and innovative
• The production must not have obtained an academic degree
• No more than 3 years have passed since the publication of the nominated novel (2022, 2023, 2024) since the date of nomination for the award.
• She must not have applied for another award or previously received an award
• He must not have received an award from any cultural body for the work itself
• The jury has the right to withhold the award if the submitted works do not meet the required level
• Publishing houses, cultural bodies, trade unions, federations, associations, cultural associations and individuals have the right to nominate
• The participant sends a copy of his ID or passport
