His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, received today His Excellency Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the friendly Republic of Tatarstan, who is visiting the Kingdom to attend the competitions of the twentieth edition of the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix – 2024.
His Majesty the King welcomed the country’s honorable guest, expressing his thanks for his visit to the Kingdom and his attendance at this global race.
His Majesty reviewed with His Excellency aspects of the strong bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation between the two friendly countries in various vital aspects, including economic and investment, and the prospects for strengthening and developing them in a way that serves common goals and aspirations.
His Majesty affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to extend bridges of cooperation and strengthen ties of friendship with the Republic of Tatarstan, in a way that achieves the aspirations of the leadership of the two countries and serves the interests of their friendly peoples.
The meeting also touched on a number of issues of common interest, in addition to exchanging conversations about Formula One races, and the important role that these international sports gatherings play in promoting communication, acquaintance and coexistence among peoples, deepening the spirit of friendship among them and achieving rapprochement between different cultures.
