In Dhaka, His Excellency Muhammad Shihab Uddin, President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, received the credentials of His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman Muhammad Al-Qaoud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, residing in New Delhi.
During the meeting, His Excellency Ambassador Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al-Qaoud conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to His Excellency the President. Muhammad Shahabuddin, President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and their wishes to His Excellency good health and wellness, and to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity.
For his part, His Excellency President Muhammad Shihab El-Din instructed His Excellency the Ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, wishing the Ambassador all success in his work duties.
The two sides praised the course of the existing friendship and cooperation relations between the two friendly countries, expressing their aspiration to advance bilateral relations to broader horizons in a way that meets the common ambitions of the two friendly countries and peoples.
During his visit to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, His Excellency the Ambassador also met with His Excellency Dr. Hassan Mahmud, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Mr. Anis ul Haq, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
During the meetings, the advanced level of friendship and bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was discussed in various fields and ways to enhance and develop them to meet common aspirations and goals, in addition to exchanging visions on a number of issues of common interest.
