As for Cameron’s visit to Israel, it comes after British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called on his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, to be “calm” in the wake of the Iranian attack.
Sunak stressed in a phone call on Tuesday afternoon that “a major escalation is not in anyone’s interest and will only exacerbate insecurity in the Middle East,” according to Agence France-Presse.
