The Bahrain darts national team player, Bassem Mahmoud, won the first place cup in the first classification competition for darts, after defeating Salah Jumaa by six games to no score in the final match that was held last Saturday at the Bahrain Billiards, Snooker and Darts Federation hall.
Mahmoud had qualified for the final match with his difficult victory in the semi-final match over Arif Abbas by five games to four after a wonderful performance by both sides, while Jumaa qualified after defeating Ferdin Kazerouni by five games to three.
In the final match, the Arab champion, Bassem Mahmoud, proceeded with great steadfastness by winning six rounds without leaving room for his expert competitor, Salah Jumaa, to win any round, even though the latter was closest to winning the first two rounds, but not exploiting the opportunities enabled Mahmoud to move towards the podium to win. The final match witnessed a strange decline in Jumah’s level, despite his strong start in the competition by defeating distinguished players in the final rounds of the competition, such as Abdullah Musaiqer, Munawar Falah in the eighth-finals, and Muhammad Abdul Rahman in the quarter-finals, but the circumstances did not help him in the last match, so he lost. He lost the match to the Arab champion and one of the best players in the Kingdom of Bahrain in darts.
