Yesterday morning, Bahrain Islamic Bank, in cooperation with the Electricity and Water Authority, organized an exhibition to provide financing solutions for solar energy services with the participation of a number of solar energy system providers, at the Bahrain Islamic Bank Financial Complex in Hamad Town. The event will continue until February 25, 2024, as this event is the first of its kind in the field of financing projects and services related to solar energy for individuals and companies.
The CEO of Corporate and Financial Banking Services at Bahrain Islamic Bank, Jawad Humaidan, stressed the importance of supporting sustainability and preserving the environment by providing soft financing, stressing that the bank’s plan and strategy are in this regard and are consistent with the Kingdom’s plans.
He stressed that Bahrain Islamic Bank will provide easy financing solutions with competitive profit rates and exclusive benefits to individual and corporate customers who wish to obtain the necessary support to adopt solar energy sources. Thus, customers wishing to install solar panels for their homes or companies will be able to immediately apply for financing from the bank, or benefit from the services and offers provided by the companies and institutions participating in this event.
He explained that the Electricity and Water Authority, through its own office, will provide the required consultations to those wishing to benefit from solar energy solutions. The bank’s customers who wish to benefit from this initiative can visit the financial complex and obtain clarification from the companies and offers, then go to the bank to obtain financing.
This event will continue for two days, starting from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., as the event will include the presence of companies and institutions approved to provide solar energy financing solutions in the financial complex to communicate with customers and the two missions, in addition to the presence of the Electricity and Water Authority to respond to customer inquiries. The event will include 7 of the most prominent companies that provide solar panel installation services and are licensed by the Authority, which include: Abdul Rahman Al-Mousa Contracting Establishment, Synergy Solar Panels Company, Al-Moayyed Trading and Contracting Company, Al-Comed Engineering Services Company, Al-Aali Engineering Consulting Office, and Innova Solar Services Company. And the Solartec Green Energy plant.
