The president of VOX, Santiago Abascalhas pointed out that there is a “great lack of interest” towards politics in general, a consequence of the fact that the main problems of citizens “are not present in the debates and in the media”, and also of the “permanent scam that you hear in the interventions of many politicians.”
He has reproached the Basque PP for using the same “language” that the PNV when referring to Euskadi as “a great country”. «The Popular Party has said, for example, that voting for the PNV is voting for Bildu on a delayed basis; and yet, he has also said that he offers the votes for an investiture of the PNV if necessary,” he stated. Thus, he has considered that, therefore, “We have to understand that voting for the Popular Party is voting for Bildu on a delayed basis.”
