A world claiming another world

In a world where Democracy is challenged and corruption prevails. In a world where freedom of speech is restricted. In a world where Justice goes blind. In a world where self-interest trumps the common good. In a world where the political crisis intersects with the climate crisis and the cost of living, we realize that we must finally include environmental pollution, eco-crimes and the loss of biodiversity. This is the world today us, and to try to survive in such a world but also to struggle to change that world by following the recipes of the past which ultimately led to the creation of such a world is doomed to failure.

But within this world and somewhere out there there is another world, which rejects the prescribed failures we want and insist on bequeathing to it and asks in a different way for a different world. It is a world that sees and realizes that the future promised to it by previous generations is dark and ominous. It is a world that feels wronged, it is a world that does not trust politicians, parties and the media, it is a world that ultimately claims much more than it is allowed to claim. «It is time to rebel for the truth» was the motto of some young Britons, who a few days ago while the official world celebrated Earth Day, they with a silent demonstration carried out the symbolic «funeral of the Earth», protesting the refusal of the traditional parties of their country to face the critical problems of the time and the mass media to highlight them. This is the world that calls for changing the course of our world before it is too late.
