Some of these cells die and release anti-inflammatory molecules known as chemokines, which promote inflammation. As a result of the violation of immune control mechanisms, prostate cancer develops,” explained Stranadko.
The urologist noted that everything depends on the structure of the prostate gland, and cancer develops from androgen-dependent epithelial cells of the prostate. In obesity, the sensitivity of tissues to the effect of insulin decreases, which leads to an increase in its concentration. As a result, the synthesis and production of insulin-like growth factors, which play a major role in the formation of malignant tumors, become more active.
