Welcoming weak opponent Granada at Nou Camp’s home field, Barcelona was disappointed when they were held to a 3-3 draw and they were 10 points behind top team Real Madrid after round 24 of La Liga.
In the early match of round 24 of La Liga, Real Madrid won 4-0 against Girona at the Bernabeu. That result puts Barcelona under a lot of pressure when they welcome Granada at the Nou Camp on the evening of February 11.
Facing the opponent ranked penultimate on the La Liga rankings, Barcelona entered the match full of excitement. In the 14th minute, young talent Yamal opened the score for Barcelona, but coach Xavi’s team could not keep the advantage.

Barcelona dominated the match, but they showed a lack of concentration in defense. In the 43rd minute, Sanchez took advantage of a mistake by Barcelona’s defense to score diagonally, equalizing 1-1 for Granada.
In the second half, Granada played excitedly while Barcelona continued to play without concentration. In the 60th minute, Facundo Pellistri suddenly kicked a decisive kick without giving goalkeeper Ter Stegen any chance, increasing the score to 2-1 for Granada.
Barcelona equalized 2-2 in the 63rd minute, when Gundogan released the ball to let Lewandowski kick in extremely quickly to beat goalkeeper Batalla. However, just 3 minutes later, left back Maouassa had a precise cross for Miquel to head into Ter Stegen’s net, helping Granada lead 3-2.
Young talent Yamal continued to leave his mark when he stole the ball from midfield before decisively equalizing 3-3 for Barcelona in the 80th minute. The remaining time of the match was too little for Barcelona to score. 4th table.
Drawing 3-3 in the end with Granada, Barcelona still ranked 3rd in La Liga with 51 points after 24 matches and coach Xavi Hernandez’s team was 10 points behind top team Real Madrid.
