Fraudsters have been accused of hacking the WhatsApp of Ayesha Ferdaus, the former Member of Parliament of Noakhali-6 (Hatia) Constituency and stealing money.
The incident took place on Saturday (March 30) around 10 am. A General Diary (GD) has been made in Noakhali’s Hatia police station in this regard.
Current Member of Parliament (MP) of Noakhali-6 Constituency Muhammad Ali, husband of Ayesha Ferdaus, confirmed this to Jago News.
He said, ‘In the morning, the WhatsApp used on Ayesha Ferdaus’ mobile was hacked and messages were sent to all known numbers asking for money. My younger son Mahtab Ali also paid 25 thousand rupees to the hackers thinking that his mother wanted him. The matter is reported to the police station and is being circulated on Facebook. So that no one is misled or deceived.’
According to GD sources, around 10 am, hackers hacked the WhatsApp of former member of parliament Ayesha Ferdaus and demanded money from known people through numbers 01785352441, 01739202524 and 01709807412.
Hatia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jisan Ahmed confirmed the GD and told Jago News, “We are tracking the numbers. Appropriate steps are being taken to bring the culprits to justice.
