8 SVV young talents at the start for the Upper Austria team – 2024-02-09 07:19:30

For the Upper Austria representation of this year’s federal state comparison fight in the children’s and student class on November 25th/26th. in the BSFZ Südstadt, took place from OO State Swimming Association a corresponding team nomination. A total of 33 young talents between the ages of 11 and 14 were delighted to be nominated – including 8 active members of the SV Vöcklabruck, spread across all age groups! The program included 100 m in all medleys, as well as 400 m freestyle, 200 m medley and 4 x 100 m relay events, with each athlete being nominated by the association for one or more distances.

For the AK13/14 (students) with the boys Silas Schnei­der (3x individual and 1x relay) and Maxi­mi­li­an Pickl (2x single) from SVV at the start for OO and swam with fast times and therefore lots of points. Thanks to the consistently strong performances, the team was ultimately able to celebrate third place behind Lower Austria and Vienna!

The male children’s team narrowly missed the podium OO with the thankless fourth place behind Lower Austria, Vienna and Tyrol. Arthur May­er was here on the part SVV He competed a total of 6 times in the relay and individual competitions and contributed top performances to the rankings. He swam to a strong personal time in the 100 m butterfly, and thus also the fastest time in Upper Austria!

An SVV girls’ quartet was part of the girls’ team in the student class. Maria Maak In her total of 3 individual and 2 relay events, she consistently placed at the front of the field despite mostly older competition. She particularly attracted attention with the fastest Upper Austrian time and a strong 10th place in the 100 m freestyle. Fetched four and three times respectively Azra Dautovic and Fin­ja Zim­mer­mann over a wide variety of distances the coal for OO with strong times from the fire. Collected over 100 m butterfly Anna Lea Fischereder Points for the team. Against very strong competition, the girls ultimately had to settle for 6th place overall despite their good performances.

In the female children’s class was allowed Ali­na Cris­tea the Vöcklabruck swimming club OO Team represented. She showed great performances in her 3 individual starts and participation in the medley relay. She even swam the fastest in the 100 m butterfly OO time and a strong 10th place! The Upper Austrian children’s girls’ team ultimately reached 7th place overall.
