There are 720,000 saplings that will be planted throughout the region, said Mrs. Tojotsara Ratefason, regional director of environment and heritage development in Vakinankaratra.
The region is currently in the middle of the rainy season, so there will be a big tree planting that will be done on the 22nd of December in Antsampandrano, Ambohibary municipality. This event can only be declared to mark the beginning of the planting of saplings because now is the time.
An area of 5 hectares is being cultivated, and the regional television will bring new saplings in this plantation, but the pines will be stopped first.
It is worth noting that many different types of kazoo seedlings are produced by the regional environmental department, and there are even fruit trees of various kinds.
