7.0 earthquake in Arequipa also left injured in Ica

The hospitals of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) and EsSalud reported patients who suffered bruises during the emergency incident

In the early hours of Friday, June 28, a strong earthquake of magnitude 7.0 with epicenter at 54 km southwest of Yauca, in Caravelí (Arequipa), caused significant damage in that area. The Regional Health Directorate of Ica reported on the effects of the earthquake in each local area. A total of 1,000 people were reported 18 people injured in the provinces of Ica and Nazcawith fractures, cuts, bruises and other types of injuries, including minors.
