The man whose full name is Mohammad Fadil Imran was born on August 14, 1968, in Makassar, South Sulawesi. His career in the Police began after graduating from the Police Academy (Akpol) in 1991.

Throughout his career in the police, Fadil Imran has recorded several interesting facts. Starting from the strategic positions he once held to being a colleague of the Chief of Police.

1. Former Chief of Metro Jaya Police

Before being appointed as Kabaharkam on March 27, 2023, Fadil Imran had held the position of Kapolda Metro Jaya for approximately three years, starting from November 16, 2020.

While still holding the rank of Inspector General (Irjen) of Police, Fadil also served as the East Java Regional Police Chief for several months, from May 1, 2020 to November 16, 2020.

2. Handle Big Cases

Throughout his career in the police, Fadil Imran has handled a number of major cases. Such as the arrest of the suspect in the Ryan Jombang mutilation case in 2008, when he was still serving as Head of Unit III of the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police.

Fadil Imran also handled the mutilation case carried out by Baekuni alias Babe in 2010. When he served as the West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, he arrested Hercules and John Kei.

Not only that, he also handled the Warkop DKI Reborn hijacking case in 2016, the 7,264 hectare forest fire case, and dismantled the Saracen syndicate in 2017.

3. Hold the rank of Three Star General in 2023

Fadil Imran received the rank of three-star general after being appointed as Head of the National Police Security and Public Order Agency on March 27, 2023.

The mutation decision was stated in 4 secret telegrams (TR) with the numbers ST/712/III/Kep./2023, ST/713/III/Kep./2023, ST/714/III/Kep./2023 and ST/715/III/Kep./2023. All were dated March 27, 2023 and signed by the Deputy Chief of Police, Commissioner General of Police Gatot Eddy Pramono on behalf of the Chief of Police, General of Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

4. One of Three Akpol Graduates in 1991 Who Holds the Rank of Commissioner General

Police Commissioner General Fadil Imran is one of the 1991 Akpol graduates who has held the rank of three-star general. Two of them are Police Commissioner General Marthinus Hukom, and Police Commissioner General Wahyu Widada.

Police Commissioner General Marthinus Hukom is currently serving as the Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN). Meanwhile, Police Commissioner General Wahyu Widada is serving as the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Wakabareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police.

Most of the 1991 Akpol graduates currently still hold the rank of Police Brigadier General and Police Inspector General, and some hold the rank of Police Grand Commissioner.

5. Fellow Classmate of the Chief of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo

In addition to being in the same class as Police Commissioner General Wahyu Widada and Police Commissioner General Marthinus Hukom, Police Commissioner General Fadil Imran is also a classmate of the Chief of Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Listyo Sigit is a member of the Indonesian National Police who graduated from Akpol in 1991. That is also what made him dubbed as one of the youngest Chiefs of Police in history.
