This year the event is held under the slogan “Earth Hour – Big Hour, for the sake of the future and us.”

It is proposed not only to turn off the lights, but also to do more: save electricity, conserve water, use cars less often, recycle waste paper and other waste,” noted Besen, the initiator of the action in Kazakhstan.

Organizers call for changing simple daily habits: using energy and heat sparingly, using water carefully, and choosing to recycle paper and other materials, thereby reducing your own individual ecological footprint on the planet.

It should be noted that in Astana, 33 objects are participating in the action.
