The head of the Scam Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dirincri) of the Police, Colonel José Cruz Chamba, explained that the Individuals recruited bad applicants, from whom they demanded up to $3,000 to fraudulently provide them with a place, mainly in the human medicine career.
Chamba explained in a press conference that these criminals They introduced one of their members to the entrance exam, who used discreet electronic devices to capture images of the questions and then sent them to the “geniuses” via Dropbox.
“These people (brains), who have advanced knowledge in science, solve the exam and, through this type of devices, which are small and can be placed in underwear, provide the answers to these bad applicants through a handset”, the colonel commented.
The detection took place during the entrance exam to the National University Federico Villarreal, carried out on Sunday, April 28. However, it has been found that these individuals have previously participated in tests at other state universities, such as the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
