German Josef Zinnbauer, coach of the Raja Sports Team, expressed his happiness with the “Eagles” victory over Hassania Agadir by four goals to two, on Saturday evening, at the “Adrar” Stadium in the capital Sousse for the quarter-finals of the Throne Cup football competition.
Zinnbauer said in the press conference that followed the confrontation: “We played well, and we knew how to manage the difficult moments in the match, and adjusting the result quickly was appropriate for us, and this shows the great confidence of our players.”
He added, “We knew that the match would not be easy against Hassania Agadir. They have a solid defense, and they showed a good performance in their last match against the Royal Army.”
He continued, “We had a great desire to score and continue playing at a high level.” Now we have to focus on the next match, and important matches await us in the coming period.”
For his part, Abdel Hadi Sektioui, coach of Hassania Agadir, said, “The match was not easy, and it would have given our players great confidence if we had achieved victory, but unfortunately that did not happen.”
He added, “We were seeking to achieve victory to give it to the Sousse fans, but we faced a large team that included talented and experienced players, and this made the difference in the match.”
He concluded his statement by saying: “We have 14 players on the list. What can I say? Thank God that we have guaranteed to remain in the first professional division this season. “The team needs some adjustments.”
It is worth noting that Raja Athletic Club will face the winner of the Throne Cup semi-final against Olympique Khouribga and Mouloudia Oujda.
