News from Angola – The kuduro festival, ZAP na tua Banda, reached the residents of Centralidade do Sequele last week, with a treat-show that was animated by talented artists from the municipality of Cacuaco and well-known names such as Cleyton M, K2, Godzilla from Game.
In this fifth edition, the electrifying style of dancing and the different cadence of the songs that characterize him, Cleyton M was the big surprise for the audience present at the “ZAP na tua Banda” Mini-Show in the urban district of Sequele.
Musicians K2 and Godzila do Game also showcased their performance on stage and interacted with Sequele’s new values, which drew on the experience of these artists with consolidated careers in the national music scene.
ZAP makes a positive assessment of the five Mini-Shows already held, and feels that it is achieving the objectives set, says Marcial Domingos, Partnerships Manager at ZAP.
According to Marcial Domingos, at this time several administrations are inviting the television operator to take the event to their locations, in order to promote local talent, an idea that can be developed further down the line.
“ZAP NA TUA BANDA” has a section on the “Na Placa” program.
The project has a partnership with the Be Kuduro channel, which has broadcast the Mini-Shows in the “Live Sessions” space, giving a stage and visibility to Kuduro style performers.
