Zap Celebrates Africa Day with minors from Lar Vivência Feliz

News from Angola – Zap’s social responsibility project, called “Vidas Zap”, celebrated this Saturday (25), Africa Day, with minors from the Vivência Feliz reception center, located in Bairro Grafanil, kilometer nine, municipality of Viana, in Luanda.

In addition to the fun provided for the little ones, the Vidas Zap initiative also allowed the installation of a TV set and a box, within the partnership signed with the center.

According to Domingos Hossi Cassinda, director of the Centro Vivência Feliz, the celebration of the day dedicated to the birthplace of the continent, provided teenagers with a lot of fun and an olistic look at Africa’s identity values.

According to the official, the new television service installed will allow teenagers quick access to informative, educational and entertainment content.

For Tchinossole Silvestre, spokesperson for Vidas Zap, the “Celebrando África” initiative brought children live music, theater and dance, for a different celebration of this day, since the Vivência Feliz center is very committed to preserving culture and national arts.

The Centro Vivência Feliz has existed for over 5 years and is designed to welcome male minors. It currently has 34 boys, whose ages range from 9 to 17 years old, who also enjoy singing and playing musical instruments such as the violin, percussion and drums.

Furthermore, the home offers users professional training in a variety of courses, such as shoemaking, cutting and sewing, IT and painting.
