Zakynthos: A dog was shot in front of its owner after an argument

A 35-year-old Swiss citizen allegedly fatally shot a dog in front of its owner in the area of ​​Lithakia in Zakynthos.

According to police sources, the 35-year-old foreigner, alleged to be the perpetrator, had previously argued with the Greek owner of the dog, for an as yet unknown reason.

As reported in a Macedonia publication, the 35-year-old then left and went to his home. There he got a shotgun and returned with the intention of killing the unfortunate quadruped, which he did not hesitate to do.

The 35-year-old Swiss was arrested in the process of self-incrimination and is expected to be brought before the Prosecutor of Zakynthos.

An administrative fine of 30,000 euros has also been imposed on him.
