The mayor of Yerba Buena, Pablo Macchiarolaled a meeting with Conicet scientists to coordinate future actions with the focus on combating the dengue endemic that caused havoc last summer.

“We met with scientists from Conicet who provided us with specific data so that we can take this information into account and act in a more specific and concrete way to optimize resources,” he said.

In this regard, he announced future actions and strategies to combat the emergence of infectious foci in the city: “We have analyzed the effectiveness or not of indoor fumigation, it is likely that we will implement an exclusive team with a dump truck to remove junk from spring, and also the probability of having health promoters who raise awareness in schools and colleges.”
