Yasra Saouf, the Moroccan artist residing in the United Arab Emirates, has made a new comeback to the artistic scene, after years of absence from artistic productions and her preoccupation with performing at concerts and weddings in the Gulf countries.
Saouf released, through her official channel on the video uploading platform “YouTube” and all music platforms, a new song titled “Al Banat”, which she chose to release in the Moroccan dialect to coincide with the launch of the summer season, which witnessed an abundance of song releases from her fellow artists.
The Arab Idol graduate worked on her new song with writer Mohammed Al-Amir, who supervised the writing of the lyrics, and composer Ashraf Faqihi; while the musical arrangement was done by Badr Makhloufi, and the production was done by the “Tathkar” company.
The Moroccan artist filmed her artistic work in the form of a video clip in an indoor studio in the UAE under the supervision of director Ahmed Helou, where she adopted summer looks with a rhythmic, dancing style through which she relied on a group of different scenes, in addition to the Moroccan heritage touch represented by the modern caftan.
The song “Al Banat” was distinguished by its theme, which calls for joy, love of life, and enjoying the moments of life in an atmosphere full of activity, happiness, and optimism, far from envy, jealousy, and negative energy.
It is worth noting that Yasra Saouf is one of the most prominent young Moroccan artists who achieved Arab fame after participating in the talent discovery program “Arab Idol”, to carve out an artistic career for herself with her own identity and devote her time to performing artistic concerts in the Gulf countries.
