“Barcelona” head coach Xavi sued “El Pais” journalist Manuel Jabois.

Publika.az informs that the story of the conflict started with the article published by another journalist of the mentioned publication after the game in which they lost to “Antwerp” (2:3) in the Champions League. After that meeting, an article called “Clowns of Europe” was published. Xavi reacted to this after the playoff game against Napoli.

Both sides were criticized and this issue was settled at the conference. However, another journalist of “El Pais” Manuel Jabois decided to defend his colleague. He made an interesting claim about Xavi:

“Yes, I didn’t want to talk about it because it was confidential. Through private messages, he sent obscene messages. They were very obscene messages. Xavi said that when he was a player he won everything and that’s why he considered himself invulnerable.”

These statements angered the Spanish specialist. He decided to sue Jabois. “Barcelona” commented on what happened and announced that Xavi did not even know who Jabois was. Therefore, it was emphasized that there was never any correspondence between them.
