Xabi Alonso / “I live in Leverkusen – My work here is not finished”

I want to help the club, help the players develop, the board is great… everything is fantastic here.”

Regarding the interest of Liverpool and Bayern Munich, Alonso noted: “I don’t want to comment on anything. They are great teams and I have strong ties with them but I am where I want to be. It’s not the time to decide on my future now, I want to develop at Leverkusen.”

The 42-year-old coach does not forget that Bayer Leverkusen was the first team that gave him the opportunity to coach at the top level. They trusted him even though he had one start (one win in seven games).
