Workshop on social media strategies for musicians

“Strategies and success stories in social networks for musicians” is the name of the new online workshop organized by the Alvayay Comunica Agency, it seeks to continue providing knowledge about the importance of knowing how these platforms work and how independent artists, agents of the music industry or communicators linked to music can, through Facebook, Instagram or Tiktok, position a musical project and build an audience.

The speaker of this training day will be the founder and CEO of Alvayay Comunica, Felipe León, who is also a musician, cultural manager and journalist, Master in Educational Communication Mention New Technologies (UPLA) and Diploma in Digital Communication (UVM). Since the creation of the agency, in 2018, it has held dozens of workshops on music management and dissemination, attended by nearly 800 artists and industry professionals from Chile and other countries. He has two in-person training tours nationwide and has also been an educator at the Schools of Rock and Popular Music and the Rockódromo Festival, organized by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage.

In this regard, the professional commented that “in this new training activity we will learn the structure of a music launch strategy on social networks, what a content grid is, scheduling, innovative content and we will learn about different success stories of emerging and established artists, both national and international, who through content of value to their target audience have managed to build a community around their musical projects.
