Fifteen people were slightly injured when the metal ceiling of a prefabricated building in Sakarya, where workers working on a hospital construction site were staying, collapsed.
The metal ceiling of the prefabricated building where workers are staying at the construction site of the 1000-bed City Hospital in Alancuma Neighborhood collapsed for an unknown reason.
Upon notification, many health, police, fire, AFAD and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the region.
Fifteen workers were slightly injured in the incident. It was learned that the workers who were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance were in good health, and one of them was found to have a fracture in his leg.
It was also stated that 13 of the workers were continuing their treatment on an outpatient basis.
Teams continue to investigate the area.

Sakarya Governor Yaşar Karadeniz told AA correspondent that 15 people were injured when the metal ceiling of the prefabricated building where the workers were staying collapsed.
Karadeniz, who stated that the workers were slightly injured and that some of them came to the hospital by their own means, said, “One person’s leg is broken, that’s the most serious one. The others survived with minor injuries. Administrative and judicial investigations will be conducted regarding the incident.”
