In commemoration of #8M, the Municipality of Ñuñoa and its Cultural Corporation invite you to a special cultural program.

The work “El Vuelo de Laura” will be exhibited in the amphitheater of Parque Juan XXIII in Ñuñoa for free and without registration. This montage tells the story of Tamara, who is summoned to testify in a court in Rome as a victim of kidnapping by the military dictatorships of Uruguay and Chile. There she finds out that she had been adopted and, from that moment, she begins the search for her origin.

Directed by Liliana García Sosa, written by Daniella Lillo Traverso, and starring Ingrid Isensee, Liliana Garcia Sosa, Shlomit Baytelman and Agustín Moya, this work is based on the investigations of the Italian prosecutor’s office based on complaints from relatives of victims and survivors. of the campaign of political repression implemented since 1975 by the military intelligence leaders of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, known as Operation Condor.

Cinema by young filmmakers

In addition, at the Ñuñoa Cinema Hall, a free screening will be held presenting 4 short films by young national filmmakers.

“Notes for the future” by Karin Cuyul; “The Alley of the Bitches” by Beatriz Arias; Eye Skin by Fanny Leiva; and “Rage is felt in the body” by Josefa Infante, Sasha Obilinovic and Paloma Rodríguez, will be the short films that will be shown during the day.
