“Wonka” maintains first place at the box office

“Wonka,” the musical fantasy about the famed chocolatier who gave the film its name, retained first place at the North American box office over the weekend with $14.4 million.

The film, produced by Warner Brothers, brought in total revenue of $165 million domestically and more than $300 million globally in its fourth weekend.

The film “Wonka” stars Timothée Chalamet, alongside Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Grant.

In second place was the new horror film “Night Swim”, which according to the specialized company “Expeter Relations” achieved a turnover of 12 million dollars.

Third place went to “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” produced by Warner Brothers, which grossed $10.6 million. Jason Momoa once again plays the superhero as he fights climate change.

It was followed in fourth place by the animated comedy “Migration,” which chronicles the journey of the culvert duck family as they move from New England to Jamaica. The film grossed $10.3 million.

“Inyuan Bat Yu,” a romantic comedy produced by Sony, ranked fifth with revenues of $9.5 million.
