Executive Secretary of the AMANAT party Daulet Karibek took part in the opening ceremony of the 1st Republican Robotics Festival “RoboZerde-2024” named after Alikhan Maksut at the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, Liter.kz reports with reference to the party’s press service.
The event brought together more than 200 schoolchildren from all over Kazakhstan.

In his welcoming speech, Daulet Karibek noted that at the meeting of the National Council for Science and Technology, the head of state instructed to provide comprehensive support to young scientists.
Our country sets ambitious goals in the field of science and technology. As the president said, the development of science is a strategically important priority for Kazakhstan. On behalf of the head of state, last year it was decided to allocate 625 billion tenge for the development of science over three years. Scientists’ salaries have doubled. Support for young researchers has been strengthened, resulting in a noticeable increase in the share of young people in science. Significant attention is paid to digitalization. And the RoboZerde-2024 festival is intended to become a launching pad for young scientists and innovative projects,” he said.

The executive secretary also added that the party’s election program provides for the opening of stations for young technicians and children’s technology parks. In addition, as part of the AMANAT election program, a network of engineering schools named after Satpayev, IT schools named after Zhautykov, and humanitarian schools named after Abay will be created.
Our festival is designed to increase students’ interest in robotics, develop children’s scientific and technical abilities and in every possible way encourage them to engage in science. Robotics for students is not just a hobby, but also a powerful tool for improving STEM skills. In addition, our festival prepares schoolchildren for future professions in the field of engineering and information technology,” said the famous poet and initiator of the festival Serikzat Duysengazi.

It is worth noting that the organizers of the festival were: Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn”, Alikhan Maksut Foundation for Support of Gifted Children, Center for Identification and Support of Gifted Children and Talented Youth “Astana Daryn”, capital school No. 9 “Zerde”, ENU named after . L. N. Gumileva, Robotek school and Mars robotics school.
