United Arab Emirates – The UAE will host the World Government Summit 2024, with the participation of more than 25 heads of state and government, 120 government delegations and 85 international and regional organizations, in addition to an elite group of global thought leaders and experts.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, welcomed the country’s guests participating in the World Government Summit 2024, which begins tomorrow in Dubai under the slogan “Foreseeing the Governments of the Future,” and continues for three days.
Bin Zayed stressed that his country “continues its efforts to develop cooperation between the world’s governments, based on its firm conviction that the challenges facing the world require joint action and a collective commitment to formulating unified visions to move towards a safer and more prosperous future.”
He said: “The World Government Summit represents a responsible invitation from the UAE to the entire world for dialogue and exchange of experiences, in addition to optimal investment in new ideas and creative energies capable of formulating innovative solutions to development challenges and meeting people’s aspirations for a decent life and a better future.”
For his part, the Ruler of Dubai stressed that, “Over the course of 11 years, the World Government Summit has transformed into a unique global forum for generating inspiring ideas, celebrating success stories, and consolidating the knowledge aspect of government work, to enable it to keep pace with developments and anticipate the future.”
More than 25 heads of state and government will participate in the World Government Summit 2024, and it will bring together 120 government delegations and more than 85 international and regional organizations and global institutions, in addition to an elite group of thought leaders and global experts, in the presence of more than 4,000 participants.
The summit will witness the holding of 110 main dialogue and interactive sessions, in which 200 international figures will speak, including presidents, ministers, experts, thinkers and future makers, in addition to holding more than 23 ministerial meetings and executive sessions in the presence of more than 300 ministers. It will also host a distinguished elite of the world’s Nobel Prize-winning scientists. Various scientific specializations.
