The 100-meter-long new road section was built in the city of Trondheim and will be tested for about a year.
Manufactured by Chinese giant Yutong The tests will be carried out with three electric buses and a fourth bus manufactured by Chinese bus maker Higer, reports news agency Xinhua. The pilot drives will test the potential of the technology to be used as the sole energy source for the buses, allowing their uninterrupted operation throughout the day without charging stops and thus reducing carbon emissions.
